NestBFT
NestBFT is a Byzantine Fault Tolerant consensus mechanism designed to provide fast, scalable, and fault-tolerant blockchain operations across all Canopy chains. It ensures that sub-chains can maintain high uptime and security, even if up to one-third of validators fail or act maliciously.
💡Unlike Proof-of-Work (PoW), NestBFT does not rely on intensive computation, making it environmentally friendly while guaranteeing that Canopy chains can operate smoothly during all phases of their evolution, including independence.
