Important: Canopy will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Canopy team members will not initiate support conversations with you via Discord DM.

Scammers may impersonate Canopy or create websites and accounts that closely resemble official channels. Always verify links before connecting a wallet, signing a transaction, or sharing information.

Staying Safe

To help protect yourself from scams and impersonators:

• Only use links published on this page. Be cautious of links received through DMs, replies, search results, advertisements, or unofficial communities.

• Canopy support is provided through our official Discord. Verify that you are using the Discord linked above before interacting with anyone claiming to represent Canopy.

• The Canopy team will not send you unsolicited DMs on Discord. Anyone contacting you privately and claiming to be Canopy support should be treated as suspicious.

• Never share your seed phrase, private key, or recovery phrase. Canopy team members and moderators will never need this information.

• Never send funds to someone claiming to be Canopy support. Support personnel will not ask you to transfer tokens or cryptocurrency to resolve an issue.

• Verify transactions before signing them. Review the website domain, wallet prompts, contract address, permissions, token amounts, and destination addresses carefully.

• Verify the CNPY contract address before swapping or interacting with the token. Tokens using the Canopy or CNPY name may be created by third parties and are not necessarily affiliated with Canopy.

• Be cautious of fake airdrops, giveaways, claim pages, and token migrations. Confirm any announcement through multiple official Canopy channels before connecting your wallet or signing a transaction.

• When in doubt, do not sign. Visit the official Canopy Discord through the link on this page and confirm with the community or moderators first.
